Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the Social and Advocacy Marketing Manager, and working closely with the Social, Advocacy and PR Assistant, this role will entail developing advocacy plans and growing social media presence through innovative and creative social media activities. Support the influencer programme to help increase brand consideration across the social landscape. Collaborate with internal teams and agencies aligning with the Digital Marketing Strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting in to the Social & Advocacy Marketing Manager, support the national social media strategy, advocacy framework and strategic partnerships
  • Work closely with Global team to deliver exciting, innovative and creative activities and align to the Digital Marketing Strategy
  • Build out and manage influencer relationships and programs to create content, change perceptions, and extend the reach of our brand messaging
  • Embrace a ‘test and learn’ mind-set to explore market platforms, tools and relationships in pursuit of growing and enhancing the brands reputation and market position
  • Conduct competitive analysis studies on WW's competitors and set KPI targets based on this analysis
  • Create a dialogue and engage in two-way conversation on relevant social channels, forums and groups
  • Work alongside the CRM team to ensure channel alignment for maximum cross-promotion and generation of qualified leads for the business
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with the Operations team, partners and external suppliers
  • Assist in the development and delivery of national marketing campaigns as part of the Digital team
  • Continue a Blogger outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the Company
  • Managing internal monthly briefing process and managing internal stakeholders
  • Build agency relationships to understand paid for social activity and working with Social Advocacy Marketing Manager plan each paid social campaign
  • Support the Social Advocacy Marketing Manager with the Content calendar for all Social platforms
  • Align with other departments to ensure collaboration across channels
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention and develop brand awareness
  • Support the development of social media campaigns and implement activations in line with strategy and agreed targets

 

Key Skills/Competencies:

 

  • 2+ years proven social media experience gained from a similar role
  • Social Media/Digital Marketing/Marketing degree preferred
  • A passion for social media technologies with a thirst to develop news skills and knowledge
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Strong project management or organisational skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
  • Experience in working across multi-disciplinary teams to drive business value and interpret business requirements through the channels
  • Experience of working with/managing social content, influencers and social media agencies
  • Ability to manage and own multiple projects across Social at any given time, displaying good organisational and time-management skills and a high attention to detail
  • Deep understanding and experience of all current major social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat etc.) and the nuances that make them (and their audiences) individual, including tone-of-voice
  • Experience in managing communities across key social platforms, and understanding what makes these communities tick is desirable
  • Ability to understand and adapt to changing social media landscape and trends
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to interface collaboratively cross-functionally and relate both upwards and downwards within the organization and with suppliers and agencies
  • Candidates that operate a blog and/or operate across multiple social networks in a personal capacity are desirable
  • Strong personal integrity and accountability
  • Excellent at multi-tasking and problem solving
  • A self -starter, with a real drive for results and continual improvement
  • Customer focused and commercially agile, with ability to think and act quickly in response to changing conditions
  • Enthusiastic and confident - a real ideas generator
  • Experience in managing a team preferred
