Role Overview:

Weight Watchers is actively seeking an experienced Systems Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with global Systems Engineering, Product Management, and Security teams to improve the company’s vision and to make our global shared technology successful. Some of the major areas we support within our global environment include Cloud Services (Office 365, Google/G-Suite, Proofpoint, AirWatch, SailPoint, etc.). You will be recommending integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Diagnose and resolve customer problems for Office365 & Google G Suite in a third-tier engineering-level support function as part of a global 24x7 global team.
  • Obtain and maintain an in-depth understanding of Office365 & Google's product technology, architecture and implementation, build and transfer knowledge to Microsoft and Google’s Tier 1 and 2 global support groups. In-depth knowledge of enterprise email services and all related sub-systems (email archive and journaling via Enterprise Vault, OWA, mailbox migrations, etc.)
  • Extensive Experience with cloud-based spam gateways, i.e., (Message labs, Proofpoint, etc).
  • Experience with data loss prevention (DLP), retention and e-discovery technologies for email.
  • Experience with MDM systems and the ability to architect/troubleshoot, (JAMF, AirWatch)
  • Understanding identity and access management, Okta, OAuth, ADFS, and 2-step verification.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Active Directory infrastructure and all related services (DNS, DHCP, DFS, etc.)
  • Understanding of Group Policy, Certificate Authority and Authentication protocols (Kerberos/NTLM)
  • Proficient with Windows Server 2008R2, 2012, 2016 system administration
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting (i.e. one or more of the following: Ansible, Python, PowerShell, JSON).
  • Experience with principles in automation administration such as Ansible, Git, Chef, Puppet, etc.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of hands on experience from Administrator to Engineer
  • 7+ years of experience supporting Messaging and Collaboration tools (Google, Office 365) Understanding and experience with Microsoft Cloud Computing, Cloud Services, and Web application services. Experience with Cloud-related technologies, Hypervisor, Storage, and Service Orchestration.
  • 5+ Experience with cloud-based spam gateways, i.e., Message labs, Proofpoint, etc.
  • 7+ years of comprehensive and practical experience with Microsoft AD Server 2008 /2012 architecture design, implementation, maintenance and support for 30,000+ seat environments
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management: preferably (Air Watch or JAMF)
  • Outstanding verbal, interpersonal and written communication and presentation skills, including demonstrated ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical aptitude; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities in a global organization, and to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders, and to work across diverse businesses and regions, balancing the needs of multiple organizations
  • Assists in developing budgets and forecasts to support business needs, goals and objectives.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, IT operations, and technology projects.
  • Ability to be on call or assure critical incident response 24x7x365.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
